It’s been a while since our last post, and today we want to speak openly and honestly with everyone who has followed or interacted with Nephilim Uprising.

Our small team has taken some time away to reflect—not just on the direction of Nephilim Uprising, but on the vision of our studio as a whole. We’ve been carefully reviewing the feedback and criticism received over the past few months, including the early reviews. While some of it is hard to hear, it’s important. We’re listening.

As developers—and gamers ourselves—we know the current state of NU doesn’t yet reflect its full potential. But it's important to remember that what you're seeing right now is an open alpha, released to the public so we can test core systems at scale before we move forward. That comes with rough edges. That comes with growing pains. And yes, it comes with mistakes that we are committed to learning from.

We don’t have a big team or outside investors. What we do have is passion, grit, and an unshaken commitment to improve this project. That’s why we’ve made the choice to take more time before the next update—because we want the next phase of Nephilim Uprising to reflect the future we believe it can have.

To be clear:

  • Nephilim Uprising will remain free to play.

  • We are not developing this game as a profit-driven product.

  • We are working hard in the background to sustain development through limited means during tough times.

We appreciate every single person who gave the alpha a shot—even those who criticized it—because that means you cared enough to try it.

Thank you for your time, patience, and honesty. We’re still here, and when we return with the next chapter of Nephilim Uprising, we want it to speak for itself.

Until then—stay sharp.
